A concert is scheduled to celebrate members of the Woodland park Wind Symphony who, over 25 years, have volunteered their time at rehearsals and community event performances with dedication, energy and the love of performing. There will be a gala reception at 6 p.m., followed by a musical performance at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center, 210 E. Midland Ave., Woodland Park.
Our membership has consisted of families, students and octogenarians! Including founding director Craig Harms, and three founding and current, members will be honored: Johanna MacArthur, Bev Harms and Dick DeMey.
Musical selections include “O Holy Night” with guest vocalist Judith Meyer, “And the Mountains Echoed: Gloria,” “A Cowboy Christmas,” “The Eighth Candle,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and other familiar musical favorites.
