Love to run? Love to quaff a fine beer or ale? Well, you can combine the two when you join Jack Quinn’s Runner’s Club. Hundreds of runners meet up at 6 p.m. Tuesdays to do a 5K run through downtown Colorado Springs. They work up a good thirst and quench it with $2.50 pints of Odell’s 5 Barrel, Easy Street, and 90 Shilling, $1 hot dogs, $2 Brats, or their $4 appetizer menu. After your 10th run, you get a FREE Jack Quinn’s Runner’s Club T-shirt. For more about downtown’s favorite Itish pub, go ONLINE. But that’s not all! Their normal happy hour is 3-6 p.m. weekdays, with $3 wells, wines, and draughts and a $4 appetizer menu that includes fish tacos, pork satay, beef skewers, fish cake sliders, and beer battered fried pickles. Yes, pickles. Not done yet! They also have Wednesdays: $4 bombs and $4 dozen wings (very popular with the younger crowd). Sundays, they have a late night happy hour: 9-midnight. There’s live Irish music every Thursday night with Brian Clancy and at 3 p.m. Sundays, there’s a traditional Irish session. Also check out the bands on Fridayand Saturday nights. And, not be be left out, on Mondays they have a tradition pub quiz. Its very popular evening that will test your knowledge of pop culture trivia.
