Make Your Own Spa Treatments for Pennies on the Dollar

POSTED BY
Linda

spa partyCan’t afford a luxury spa resort? No problem. You can recreate chic spa treatments at home, according to spa directors Leticia Fernandez at the AAA Five-Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Maya just outside Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and Silvia Velasco from Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit near Puerto Vallarta. The duo have developed seven do-it-yourself recipes using ingredients such as avocado, sugar and olive oil that can be easily found at your local grocery store. For some of the other items, check with retailers that sell organic items or essential oils. Make your own bubble bath, face cream, lotion, exfoliating mixture or deep-conditioner for your hair with these simple recipes, which you’ll find on our sister site, Living on the Cheap. Cost is pennies compared to spa products.
