Get Your Senior Parks Pass for Just $10 — Good Forever!

POSTED BY
Linda

If you’re 62 years old or older, and you like to travel, you need to get yourself a Senior Pass, which gives you (and as many as  three other adults of any age in your car) FREE admission to national parks and other national lands. It costs just $10 and it’s good for as long as you live. Now THAT’s a great deal! These new passes replace the old Golden Age passports, but those are still good and will be honored, too — so if you already have one, don’t worry! We just used ours for FREE  admission for four adults to Mesa Verde National Park and to Hovenweep National Monument. An annual adult pass is $80 if you’re younger than that. And if you are permanently disabled, you can get a pass for FREE. Persons who volunteer 500 hours or more at national lands also get FREE passes. For more information, or to get your pass, stop by the Pikes Peak Ranger District  office in Colorado Springs, located at 601 S. Weber St. Or call them at 636-1602 for information.
