Does your child have problems with reading? There’s lots of FREE help to be had. The Pikes Peak Library District has reading practice sessions (Paws to Read — to a dog — and Study Buddies, with a teen partner). They also have free online help with homework if you go to their site, www.ppld.org and click on All Databases and type in Brainfuse. Reach them at 471-8672 or visit www.peakreader.org. Sign up for twice-a-week one-0n-one 12-week sessions. Finally, if your preschooler needs help, the Community Partnership for Child Development can assist you. Call 884-1410 or visit www.cpcdheadstart.org. They oversee Head Start and other preschool programs. Their services also are FREE.
