AARP Can Save You a Bunch of Bucks on Almost Everything

POSTED BY

Have an AARP membership? Don’t just carry the card around for bragging rights!  Be pro-active. There are dozens of ways to save money with your AARP membership. You can get coupons online for groceries, household goods and more (www.grocerycouponcenter.com.) Or you can get as much as 30 percent off eyewear from national chains like LensCrafters, PearlVision, Target or JCPenney optical departments. Ask where you buy your glasses if they give a distcount through AARP’s EyeMed Vision Care program (www.aarphealthcare.com). You also get up to a 50 percent discount on products ordered online from Target.com, Sears, Kmart and other national retailers. That’s good on electronics, books, clothing and furniture. Go to www.everydaysavingscenter.com/deals. Did you know Denny’s restaurants give a 20 percent discount on your check if you’re an AARP member and dine there between 4 and 10 p.m. daily? Yup. Coffee for a buck, too! Visit www.AARP.org/yoursavings  for a complete list of ways you can save money with your membership. Getting older does have its perks.
