Use a CityPass to Save Money on Vacation

POSTED BY

Going on vacation somewhere fun on spring break or this summer?  Want to do it at a discount? Try using a CityPass.

CityPASS booklets include actual admission tickets to each attraction and include detailed attraction information. Present your booklet at each attraction. See each ticket front for entry instructions. Admission tickets are good for one-time admission only. Do not pull a ticket from the booklet or it will be invalid. Tickets removed by attraction staff only. The booklet is valid 9 consecutive days. The first use is considered day 1.

CityPASS attractions often – but not always – provide expedited entry for CityPASS ticket holders so they can skip main ticket lines.

CityPass booklets are available for Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Denver, Dallas, San Francisco, Houston, Philadelphia, New York City, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Se3attle, Toronto and Southern California.

Passes vary somewhat in price, but the Denver booklet, for example, costs $39 for adults, $29 for kids (ages 3-11) and includes such attractions as the Denver Zoo, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Art Museum and Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum.

The CityPass represents a 30-50 percent savings over the usual admission fees, depending on which attractions you chose.
