If you haven’t visited one of Colorado Springs’ unique museums, the Money Museum of the National Numismatic Association, which offers FREE admission once a month. Doors of the museum, 818 N. Cascade Ave., open at 10 a.m. that day. Explore the world of money for FREE on the third Saturday of each month. See rare and unusual coins. Check out the beautiful Bass Gallery and see how U.S. coinage has changed over the decades. Walk through the Civil War exhibit and learn how money played a large role in the battle between the states. This month, in the KidsZone, from 10:30 to noon, children 4-y can learn about the anatomy of a coin. Yes, coins have “body parts” too! It’s also FREE, but you must pre-register for the event. Call 632-2646 or go to www.money.org/KidsZone.
